While visiting Venezia, I found a restorante I had read about before going to Italy. I never dreamed I would find the place, but while riding on a gondola ride, we floated by the sign, "Da Ivo" and  I couldn't believe it. "Da Ivo" was so delicious I think it was the best food I had ever tasted. When we were finished eating the maître d asked us if we would like a bottle of wine on the house. When we told him we didn't drink,  he shockingly stated, "No wine? Such a disaster!" We laughed together and enjoyed his company and had to take a picture together with him and the cook. It was a day I will never forget.

One of my favorite things about singing for the USO in Germany was to be able to sing with this soldier in the audience. I had a lot of fun! I am so honored to be able to entertain and hopefully uplift these amazing heroes. 

I got to see downtown Landstuhl today. I ate a beautiful lunch! The quiche was cooked perfectly and the mouth watering salad was delicious.
